The Pump Room is written and maintained independently, and reader correspondence is the closest thing we have to a peer-review process. If something on this site helped you, confused you, or — worst of all — turned out to be wrong, we want to know.

What to Send

Corrections. Engineering writing earns trust by being right. If you find a technical error, a misleading simplification, or an outdated reference to a standard, please point to the specific page and passage. Corrections from working engineers get priority treatment.

Topic suggestions. The site grows in the direction readers push it. If there is a pump topic you have always wanted explained properly — vertical turbine hydraulics, mechanical seal flush plans, vibration analysis for beginners — suggest it.

Questions. We read every question, and the good ones often become future articles. Please remember, though, that we cannot provide engineering services, product recommendations, troubleshooting for specific installations, or anything that should come from a licensed engineer or the equipment's manufacturer.

What We Cannot Help With

Because it comes up often: this site has no connection to any pump manufacturer, and we cannot supply parts, manuals, firmware, datasheets, warranty support, or service for any brand of pump — including any brand historically associated with this domain name. If you are searching for support on a specific machine, your fastest route is the nameplate: the manufacturer and model number on it will lead you to the current official support channel.

We also do not run advertising, accept sponsored content, or participate in link exchanges, so proposals of that kind will go unanswered.

Use the form below and we will reply as time allows. The Pump Room is a part-time labor of love, so please allow a little patience — thoughtful messages always get answers eventually.

We read everything; replies follow as time allows.
